چکیده
Background: Juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) is a complex trait, the most common rheumatic disease in children. Considering clinical heterogeneity of disease, genetic background particular JIA subtypes may also vary significantly. Objectives: This work was aimed to reveal characteristic patterns HLA associations within 11 loci for two clinically different forms Belarusian population. Methods: 24 patients diagnosed with systemic JIA, oligoarticular and healthy controls were included into study. The divided subgroups according IIAR classification criteria. High-throughput typing performed using TruSight v2 Sequencing Panel (Illumina) on MiSeq system. Sample analysis Assign v2.0 software. Results: DQA1* 05:01:01 DQB1* 02:01:01 alleles showed protective effect against both (p = 0.007; OR=0.08; 95% CI=[0.009–0.65] p 0.01; OR=0.09; CI=[0.01–0.83]) oliarticular 0.026; OR=0.16; CI=[0.03–0.79] 0.046; OR=0.2; CI=[0.04–1.00], while DRB1 *03:01 negative association revealed only 0.03; OR=0.11; CI=[0.01–0.88]). At same time 04:02:01 (p=0.026; OR=5.88; CI=[1.20–28.72]) DRB1* 08:01:01 (p=0.07; OR=3.94; CI=[1.01–15.39]) allele frequencies significantly higher oligoarthritis but not when compared controls. Conclusion: distinct HLA-alleles associated population as well some oligoartricular JIA. Disclosure Interests: None declared

Methotrexate in oligoarticular persistent juvenile idiopathic arthritis
Introduction Methotrexate (MTX) is recommended for children with juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) with persistent oligoarticular course with high disease activity and features of poor prognosis or if they failed intraarticular glucocorticoid steroid injections following the 2011 ACR recommendations for the treatment of JIA. To date efficacy and safety of MTX for this JIA category have not be...

Introduction Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) is a complex autoimmune and inflammatory disease. Many studies show HLA alleles can be associated with SLE. The aim of this study was to determine the association of HLA-DRB1 alleles with juvenile- onset in Iranian children. Materials and Methods At a case – control study, 31 children with systemic lupus erythematosus (case group) who referred to ...
متن کاملHLA II class alleles in juvenile idiopathic arthritis patients with and without temporomandibular joint arthritis
BACKGROUND Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) arthritis is seen very often (38-87 %) in children with juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA). With contrast enhanced magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) we can detect more cases of TMJ arthritis than ever before. Previous studies show that HLA II class alleles may have protective or risk importance in JIA subtypes. Our objective is to identify HLA II class a...
متن کامل14.4 Oligoarticular Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA): can extension be predicted?
Background Oligoarticular JIA is presently unpredictable in its course and can become more severe after an initially mild onset. We examined the cellular and molecular composition of the first synovial fluid (SF) aspirates from oligoarticular JIA patients to discover markers that predict an increase in number of joints involved and thus, extension to more severe phenotype (extended oligoarticul...
متن کاملProtective role of HLA-DRB1*11 against juvenile idiopathic arthritis living in North Eastern Iran
Objective(s): Juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) is one of the most common chronic rheumatic diseases in children. The complex nature of this immune-mediated disease owes itself to several predisposing genes and environmental factors affecting its pathogenesis. Conducted in Iran, this study was originally intended to investigate every possible association between HLA DRB1 alleles and a suscept...
